progressive lenses sometimes referred to as "no-line bifocals" or "no-line bifocals", and we all know that are used for those who both suffered from myopia and presbyopia, which one is better for a starter who need to wear multifocal lenses, progressive or bifocals? Here is my answer, progressive lenses provide a graduated range of vision from distance to near without a line, and they will lens gives you the intermediate distance also that a bifocal can't do, most progressives will blur out at some point on the outer edges of the lens in the distance portion, however the brain gets used to that and it doesn't bother most people for long. |
