People may be suffered from near vision problem as the age grows, for those who also have problem in distance vision, they can choose bifocal or progressive lenses, actually, I am inclined to the later one if this is your first time to wear such eye wears, they lens give you the intermediate distance also that a bifocal can't do, most progressives will blur out at some point on the outer edges of the lens in the distance portion, however the brain gets used to that and it doesn't bother most people for long, the intermediate portion of the lens it is more like normal vision! Progressive glasses usually take a good 2 weeks to feel OK, but 94% of those who have them wouldn't switch.
