What OD and OS Mean

   Can anybody tell me what OD and OS mean? I often see them on the eyeglasses. But I really got confused about their meanings. If you know, please tell me. Thank you for your time and answers.

	Many people have asked me about what OD and OS mean. Actually OD are the abbreviation for the oculus dexter which means right eyes. And OS are abbreviated for the oculus sinister which means left eye. While sometimes you may see “OU”. They are oculus uterque which means both eyes. OD, OS and OU are Latin terms.
